Ringing Centres Conference 2007

The Ringing Centres Committee is holding a one-day Conference on 31 March, between 9.30am and 5.00pm.

It is planned to have an exciting programme of speakers, so that those involved with running a Ringing Centre, or considering setting one up, can meet and discuss issues of common interest. The Conference will also be of interest to Guild/Association and Branch/District Education and Training Officers.

Sessions will include:

The venue for the Conference is The Reading Room in Meriden Road close to the centre of the small village of Berkswell, West Midlands, which is about 5 miles west of Coventry City Centre. For lunch we shall be walking to the new rooms at Berkswell Church, about 300 m. away. It is hoped the six bells will be available over the lunch period.

Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided at Registration and at other times during the day. A two-course lunch is optional at additional charge. All these comestibles are being kindly prepared by members of the Coventry Diocesan Guild as a means of supporting their Bell Repair Fund.

You are therefore cordially invited to apply to join the Conference . The charge to attend is £7.50 per person, which includes tea/coffee etc., plus an additional £7.50 if you choose to have lunch. Please apply on the attached Booking Form by Monday 19 March.

If you have any queries about the event, please contact Robert Cater (who is organising the event) on either 01729 840806 or
