The Worshipful Company of Founders has announced its intention to provide the second annual £500 prize to be awarded to the group of ringers of any age, which is judged to have made the greatest contribution to the encouragement of young people (under the age of 25 years) in ringing. Competition for this prize is open to any group of ringers, e.g. a tower, an education committee, a university society, a school, a ringing centre, but not an individual. The competition will be administered by the Ringing Centres Committee, but judged by a wider group of people. The judges will be looking for innovative projects that have taken place within the last two years. Entries should be in the form of a description of the project that includes, but is not restricted to, the following:
The description should be no longer than two sides of A4 (12 pt. Font). Illustrations, photographs and other supportive evidence may also be supplied as appendices if appropriate but please only supply what is useful as all material supplied will need to be photocopied for the judges. Original photographs will be returned on request.

The results will be notified as soon as possible. The winning entrants will receive their prize from the Founders at an agreed date. They will be required to submit an article about the project to The Ringing World.
