Public Relations Committee
Terms of reference
To establish and maintain goodwill and mutual understanding of church bell ringing between the Central Council, its officers, committees and members, bell ringers, associations/guilds/societies in the British Isles and overseas, church authorities, the media, and the general public.
Activities
The committee provides a contact point with ringing for Press and public and performs other services including:
- press releases to promote ringing for special occasions
- the provision of promotional and support material for ringers and parishes
- exhibition stands and materials on loan
- the UK support network for handling complaints about ringing
- sponsorship of the Ringing Roadshow held approximately every second year
Other projects are undertaken as appropriate, ranging from the Millennium Project to the promotion of ringing for special occasions.

The following members were elected by the Central Council at the meeting on 31 May 2005 in Harrogate to serve until the meeting to be hosted by the Durham and Newcastle Diocesan Association in 2008:
